Michael is a sound engineer, a musician,  talented artist and a friend. Recently he needed portraits done and I was happy he hired me to create them. As an artist Michael knows what he wants, he gave me a description of the desired look, which trended toward dark and moody, and sent me some examples as well. We had a good time in the studio session. Of course he provided the musical tracks for our photography session  with sounds as unique and eclectic as he is, everything from rap to rock , gospel and a mix of music  in between.  In addition to capturing posed portraits and different types of looks it was also  good  for me to capture real moments of honest laughter and smiles. Michael shared that when anyone who knows him looks at those photos in particular the response is, “yup, that’s you !”
